Description

Job DescriptionThis position involves the complete concept, design, development, analysis, and documentation of mechanical/electrical components and devices for new and existing products. Responsibilities include creating models, developing criteria, conducting product and prototype testing, designing and maintaining production tests and systems, investigating production equipment problems, and conducting feasibility studies, Gage R&R, time studies, and testing new and modified designs.The role directs support personnel in preparing detailed designs, design testing, and prototype fabrication, and provides information to drafting for documentation.ResponsibilitiesWork independently or with other technical/manufacturing resources to achieve key manufacturing metrics.Provide cell support for manufacturing personnel, product, and test equipment.Integrate daily work with multiple active projects.Analyze test data to evaluate key factors and collaborate with technical resources on/off site in problem solving.Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and understand limitations in software and standard industry equipment.Evaluate and qualify new parts or suppliers.Work with suppliers/customers to resolve RCCM quality issues.QualificationsBachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field from a ABET‑certified university.Highly attentive to detail while retaining a big picture perspective.Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, operators, engineers, and other support staff.Estimate, lead, and deliver work at a project level.Influence assembly/test design trade‑off decisions.Analyze complex designs independently.Experience with LabVIEW TestStand preferred.Contribute to system design, verification test plans, and best practices.Perform advanced root‑cause analysis.Customize test systems to simplify or automate tasks.Hands‑on experience with multiple manufacturing processes preferred.Pay Range & BonusSalary range: 65,090.00 - 108,675.00.
