An exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support CNC machining operations and drive process improvements within a precision manufacturing environment. Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will:

    • Support CNC machining operations and manufacturing equipment performance.
    • Evaluate, develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability of products and tooling solutions.
    • Analyze tooling, equipment and process requirements for machining operations.
    • Create, revise and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions and mechanical drawings.
    • Implement and manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
    • Investigate production issues, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
    • Train production personnel on new and updated manufacturing processes.
    • Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including workflow and work-cell improvements.
    • Design manufacturing fixtures using CAD software.
    • Recommend and justify investments in new equipment, tooling and manufacturing technologies.
    • Support equipment installation, validation and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
    • Provide manufacturing input for new product introduction and production planning.
    • Review and disposition non-conforming materials while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

A successful Program Manager lll should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Experience supporting machining operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment optimization.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for fixture and tooling design.
  • Experience implementing process improvements and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes.
  • Strong communication, training and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex production challenges and implement practical solutions.
