    Description

    Duration: 6 months - W2 Onsite/ Hybrid Contract - *Possibility role will convert to direct hire**Required **SECRET CLEARANCE role** *open it up to resume don't have clearance but submit for clearance willing to sign up and get a clearance - also consider.Note: No C2C/ Corp to CorpThis position will be responsible for mechanical component manufacture assembly and integration into rocket engine and power systems products. Responsibilities include designing and planning of layout component fabrication, assembly and material handling, planning of sequence of operations, and specification procedures.Senior responsible for manufacturing group for specific program. This role is hands-on in a machine shop environment (machining, welding, fabrication, tool building) and involves interpreting electronic drawings, planning processes, and using MRP systems..Good industry experience with Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing/Defence/ Space Manufacturing - not electrical engineers, not structural engineers, this role will be machining, detailed welding hardware people with machine shop experience; shop environment understanding electronic systems/mrp systems, electronics planning systems, electronic drawings knowledge understanding the processes of machining and welding is needed need that shop activity; know the drawing, what type processes (type of machine, weld, quality check) needed to manufacture/fabricate the part fabricating tools is the perfect fitThe scope of responsibility will be for several mechanical components or as a process engineer supporting new and developing process that could be utilized on all programs with the potential to acquire greater responsibility as performance and experience dictate.45% - Developing/Designing Support Hardware and Review Engineering Drawings-(ProE, CATIA, VisMockup, similar CAD/virtual manufacturing tools/sw, MS Office/Word,Excel)25% - Developing and Implementing Manufacturing Fabrication and Assembly Processes and Systems20% - Managing processes in accordance with the Lean methodology which will include process certification, process improvement methods (e.g. Kaizen, 3P, VSM, etc.)05% - Determining Tight Tolerance Machining#J-18808-Ljbffr
