Manufacturing Engineer - Final Assembly Tooling (GVOSS)

Position Description:

• Specialize in and deliver Final Assembly Tooling to GVOSS intent.
• Provide a consistent level of proficiency required to implement Engineering standards, lessons learned, employee training, and implement GVOSS.
• Foster/Mentor FAE Engineers and tooling integrators through Tool Design to ensure Production Tooling meets GVOSS intent and is appropriate for the application.
• Maintain process and launch expertise in tooling and process development.

• 1 or more years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Tool design, Tooling, Tool modifications
• Data driven with good problem-solving techniques
• 5 Years' experience with GVOSS, tooling, processes, and facilities
• At least 1 major program launch
• Passion for innovation

• 10 Years experience with GVOSS, tooling, processes, and facilities
• Statistics, Microsoft Office
• Program Management skills
• Solid background with virtual manufacturing tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Final tool design and delivery experience
• Familiar with FAE processes, tooling, and joining equipment
• Excellent working relationship with Final Assembly Engineering Integrators
• Working knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, etc.)

• Bachelor of Science Degree - Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
