The salary range for this role, based in Fort Smith, is $78,300.00 to $97,900.00. Base salaries are determined during the interview process by assessing a candidate\'s experience, skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.Position Summary We are looking for a talented manufacturing engineer to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes. The manufacturing engineer\'s responsibilities include identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, designing new processes and methods, and ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards. To be successful, you should be able to work effectively within a team and have a high level of technical expertise, with the ability to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.Manufacturing Engineer Duties & Responsibilities Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvementDetermining problem resolutions and implementing improvementsDeveloping detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflowResearching and developing new processes, equipment, and productsDeveloping and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systemsEnsuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulationsMaintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reportsAnalyzing production data to provide recommendations to maintenance & production teams on focus areasCompleting heat map exercises and Pareto production issues to align with site prioritiesConducting research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturingEstablishing safety procedures for individuals working with dangerous chemicalsConducting tests and monitoring equipment process performance throughout productionTroubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processesEvaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulationsEstimating production costsManufacturing Engineer Skills & Qualifications Analytical skills for troubleshooting designs and identifying effective solutionsIngenuity in applying industrial engineering concepts to address production problemsInterpersonal skills for developing positive working relationships with production staffMath skills for applying advanced topics including troubleshooting, calculus, analysis and designManufacturing Engineer Education & Experience Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required4-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineeringExperience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing operations, processes, and machineryExperience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization and management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (including Visio and Project)High level of technical expertiseLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification strongly preferredWhen you join Pernod Ricard, you\'ll experience a workplace rich in heritage, driven by iconic brands and a commitment to sustainability, safety, and giving back to the communities where we work.
