Drive manufacturing excellence by leading process design, development, and validation for safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production. Take ownership of technical problem-solving, ERP/PLM master data quality, and robust work instruction implementation. Lead new product introductions, tooling programs, and engineering changes while partnering cross-functionally to deliver measurable improvements in safety, delivery, quality, and cost.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing launches for new/revised products including process planning, validation, and readiness reviews

  • Own ERP/PLM master data integrity for assigned products ensuring alignment to specifications

  • Provide daily production support by diagnosing issues and implementing solutions

  • Manage end-to-end engineering change implementation (ECN) and non-conformance resolution (NCR)

  • Create, release, and audit work instructions and standard work procedures

  • Lead fixture/tooling/gauge strategy to improve safety, quality, and productivity

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with measurable reductions in cycle time and cost

  • Serve as technical interface to suppliers and outsourcing partners

  • Provide manufacturability and cost inputs for quoting and contract reviews

  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians on standards and problem-solving methods

 

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, welding)

  • Proven capability managing ERP/PLM master data with quality control discipline

  • Demonstrated ability to lead shop-floor problem solving using structured methods (8D/5-Why)

  • Ability to develop standard work instructions and perform process audits

  • Working knowledge of process controls and measurement fundamentals

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing abilities

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited university

 

Qualifications Preferred:

  • 3-7 years experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Lean Manufacturing experience (Green Belt required, Black Belt a plus)

  • Experience leading cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement

  • Oil & Gas manufacturing experience

  • Advanced understanding of electrical assemblies, including PCBA manufacture
  • Experience with PFMEA/control plans and APQP/PPAP practices

  • Experience leading supplier technical reviews

 

Travel requirement: Up to 10% domestic and potentially international
