Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing team focused on optimizing operations within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will support continuous improvement initiatives, implementation of new technologies, and day-to-day manufacturing operations across machining, automated, and manual processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create, refine, troubleshoot, and improve manufacturing processes across machining, automated, and manual operations
  • Provide hands-on production floor support to identify issues, implement corrective actions, and improve operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges
  • Communicate process expectations and best practices to production personnel to improve overall effectiveness
  • Support cost reduction, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilize 3D modeling software to review parts, production drawings, and support CAM programming
  • Assist with implementation of new manufacturing technologies and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related engineering role supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling software for reviewing parts, drawings, and manufacturing programs
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a regulated environment such as automotive, FDA, medical device, or aerospace
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software such as NX and Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and ability to provide design feedback
  • Experience utilizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
  • Familiarity with ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and related manufacturing technologies
  • Proven experience supporting process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives
