Manufacturing Engineer
Direct Hire Full-time
Base Pay Rate: $70,000 to $100,000/yr.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00PM
Overtime available, if needed
Location: West side of Rochester, NY

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to support efficient, high-quality production. This role involves analyzing products and production methods to improve both new and existing operations. Working collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment, the Manufacturing Engineer applies technical expertise to drive continuous improvements that reduce cycle times, enhance product quality, and deliver measurable cost savings.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust manufacturing processes to ensure product stability, establish production standards, and support ongoing process improvements.
- Optimize and innovate manufacturing methods, equipment operations, and overall production performance to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and other departments to troubleshoot issues and resolve production challenges.
- Research, recommend, and integrate new technologies and systems to upgrade manufacturing capabilities and drive innovation.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes in response to customer deadlines, ensuring feasibility and alignment with production capabilities.
- Design and develop end-to-end manufacturing solutions including processes, tooling and fixtures, CNC programs, and detailed work instructions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, AS degree, or CNC Machining Technical Certification, preferred.
- 4+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer, designing and implementing precision manufacturing processes to enhance CNC production efficiencies, required.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks, Mastercam, and PartMaker.
- Knowledge of CNC manufacturing equipment and quality assurance methodologies.
- Able to edit and write CNC programs, required.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T, required.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with ERP systems.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilities.

Pay Transparency: In accordance with New York State pay transparency requirements, the expected compensation range for this position is $70k/yr. to $100k/yr. The actual rate offered will be based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for benefits and employee perks in addition to base pay compensation.
