This position is responsible for supporting plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes and leading the lean transformation across the organization. Additional responsibility includes executing the organization’s strategic plan consistent with federal, state, and local regulations, established industry standards, and customer requirements as well as tooling layout, design& implementation to production, support production team with process improvements & troubleshooting, work with product design on new product tooling & processes, factory layout, and continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, use of Six Sigma tools, 5S etc.).
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of four (4) years of Engineering experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in CNC[DW1] [KC2] machining environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Experience with manufacturing or process design of machined and fabricated components from raw material
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with CAD and CAM software
This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (I) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.
- Minimum of four [DW1] [KC2] (4) years of experience in CNC programming for milling and turning,
- Minimum of one (1) year Project Management experience.
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt
- Experience auditing and improving manufacturing processes
- Experience with 5-axis CAM programming
