Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and/or EDM.
- Program 3, 4, or 5-axis machines including VMC, VBM, VTL, HBM, HMC, EDM (wire, sinker, fast hole), etc.
- Work on Okuma, Haas, Siemens, and Fanuc controls.
- Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor utilizing Vericut.
- Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineers and offer training to operators, programmers, and MEs as required.
- Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.
- Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.
- Embrace and drive positive change in a fast-paced environment inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Experience with high-level machine tool controls including sub-routine (macro), Renishaw probing routine, and variable-based programming, as well as CLM (closed loop machining).
- Strong problem-solving and organization skills, with above-average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry.
- Experience machining high-temperature superalloys found in HDGT or Aerospace components.
