Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is a critical hire due to the retirement of a long-tenured team member and offers the opportunity to take ownership of manufacturing processes for complex, low-volume electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, drive process improvements, and play a key role in supporting advanced, high-tech product development.

This position offers significant long-term growth potential within a stable and well-established organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, plan, and optimize manufacturing processes for low-volume, high-complexity electromechanical equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with design and development teams to review product designs for manufacturability.
  • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and production aids to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Serve as a central liaison between engineering, purchasing, operations, and inventory teams.
  • Support production activities involving systems with integrated controls, automation, or software components.
  • Ensure smooth communication across internal departments and with customers when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly with low-volume electromechanical assemblies or complex systems (e.g., automation equipment, robotics, motors, or similar technologies).
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD for design review and tooling/fixture development.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions.
