Simultaneously, you will drive environmental stewardship by preventing exposures and reducing waste through lean, cost-effective manufacturing strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • New Product Introduction (NPI): Design and implement robust manufacturing processes tailored to customer specifications; develop detailed technical drawings, establish rigid quality specifications, and author comprehensive work instructions.
  • Quality Leadership: Act as the primary technical interface for customer quality concerns; lead the end-to-end Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CAPA) processes for internal and external issues.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously research and test innovative manufacturing methods to maximize throughput and minimize production costs while upholding strict quality principles.
  • Technical Support: Provide real-time engineering resolution to production floor challenges to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Project Management: Deliver accurate product reports and project milestone updates; lead technical product reviews and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure 100% clarity on customer requirements through proactive, efficient communication with both internal departments and external partners.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain total adherence to established business practices, safety protocols, and regulatory work rules.
Marginal Job Functions
  • Documentation Management: Manage engineering documentation libraries to ensure high accessibility and strict version control.
  • Team Leadership: Serve as a project lead for special initiatives or continuous improvement teams as assigned.
  • Operational Support: Support broader manufacturing process troubleshooting to minimize downtime across the facility.
  • Workplace Excellence: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized professional work environment (5S).
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field (Required).
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Alternative: A suitable combination of equivalent education and hands-on industrial experience will be considered.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles, and strong technical writing abilities.
