Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer supports CNC and machining operations with a strong focus on the production floor, spending approximately 80% of the time on-site at the machines and 20% in the office. This role leads the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, provides day-to-day engineering support to plant operations, and ensures robust process documentation and equipment readiness for current production and new product introductions.

Work Environment
This role is based primarily on the production floor, with approximately 80% of the time spent in the machining and CNC areas and 20% in an office setting. The engineer supports six large CNC centers and manual work cells in a unionized manufacturing facility, where direct hands-on work on equipment may be limited and troubleshooting often occurs in partnership with toolmakers and other skilled trades. The typical work schedule is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. The environment involves working around CNC machines, machining equipment, and manual assembly stations, using engineering tools and software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD. The facility offers 2-3 weeks of paid time off and 6 paid holidays, contributing to a balanced and supportive work setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
