Manufacturing Engineer Gas Turbine MRO DocumentationHouston, TX | Onsite | 9-Month ContractSeeking a Manufacturing Engineer with gas turbine MRO experience to develop and standardize overhaul work instructions for LM6000 and LM2500 engines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed assembly, disassembly, and overhaul work instructions
- Review and improve existing MRO processes and documentation
- Capture technician best practices and standardize procedures
- Create inspection sheets, checklists, process flows, and visual work instructions
- Support shop-floor validation and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:- Experience with LM6000 and/or LM2500 gas turbines
- 3-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineer
- MRO, aerospace, power generation, or heavy industrial experience
- Technical writing or work instruction development experience
- Strong understanding of gas turbine modules, fits, clearances, and assembly practices
