As a CNC Programming Contractor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. You will develop CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, and Esprit 2000, and verify them with Vericut. Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam/Siemens NX/Esprit 2000.
- Verify CNC programs with Vericut before shop floor release.
- Provide CNC support and operator training for new machine startups and process improvements.
- Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
- Develop workstation instructions for CNC-related issues.
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and work in a matrixed organization.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and drive positive change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
Preferences
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Mastercam/Siemens NX/Esprit 2000 CAM software and 3D modeling software.
