Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a Contract with a client in St Paul, MN. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, tooling, and production efficiency while supporting daily operations and resolving manufacturing issues.

Rate Range: $38/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Manufacturing Engineer II Responsibilities include:

• Support and continuously improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issues while providing timely support for production line concerns.

• Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools such as DMAIC, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping.

• Monitor and maintain production metrics, status reports, and performance statistics for assigned product lines.

• Develop, update, and manage manufacturing process documentation to ensure compliance and standardization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, drive quality improvements, and achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or process engineering environment.

• Experience with manufacturing process improvement methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to support production lines and resolve manufacturing equipment or process issues.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
