Move Forward with VoltVolt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Engineer in Clifton NJJob Description Develops implements and analyzes manufacturing engineering plans and projects and communicates them to internal and external customers. Defines develops and transfers manufacturing and engineering tools strategies and systems. Develops manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes. Actively participates with engineering project teams in order to coordinate the release of new products. Estimates and tracks manufacturing costs determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations. The candidate will perform a variety of engineering work in the development improvement and optimization of multiple processes and techniques including circuit card assembly standard module assembly and electro-mechanical final assembly. The work will include improving and optimizing current processes implementing new tooling improving existing tooling and creating robust technical documentation on existing processes and tooling.Essential Functions Implementing manufacturing standard work and best practices to improve operational metrics Translate drawing requirements into detailed work instructions for the assembly integration and testing of complex end-products Work with existing and legacy equipment Control and improve existing processes Perform failure analysis and risk mitigation Complete technical writing and training related tasks Coordinate with maintenance group for equipment upkeep and trainingThis is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunityThe ideal candidate will have Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
