This is a hands‑on, floor‑focused role responsible for real‑time problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and maintaining manufacturing documentation in a manual or non‑standard ERP environment. This role also requires obtaining Process Release (PR) certification to support final inspection and product release activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced production setting and can support multiple product lines.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands‑on support on the production floor to ensure smooth manufacturing executionPartner with Quality to support MRB activities, nonconforming material disposition, and case documentationPerform root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, data-driven) and implement corrective actionsCreate and maintain manufacturing documentation (routers, travelers, work instructions)Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturability requirementsSupport inspection activities, including use of measurement tools and coordination with CMM teamsObtain and maintain Process Release (PR) certification and support final inspection approvalValidate manufacturing readiness and documentation prior to product releaseDrive process improvements in safety, quality, and throughputWork within manual tracking systems (spreadsheets, paper‑based records)Collaborate cross‑functionally across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply ChainSupport multiple product lines and flexible production needs, including extended hours/weekends as requiredRequired QualificationsExperience in an aerospace manufacturing shop floor environmentStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&TExperience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodsBackground in creating and maintaining manufacturing documentationProficiency with hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Willingness to obtain and operate under Process Release (PR) certificationStrong attention to detail and documentation disciplineAbility to work effectively in a manual or non‑standard ERP environmentStrong communication skills and comfort working on the shop floorDue to the nature of the work US Citizenship is requiredPreferred QualificationsBachelor"s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)Familiarity with MRB processes and quality disposition workflowsPrior experience with final inspection or product release authorityExposure to CMM inspection and inspection planningExperience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiativesFlexibility to support second shift and weekend coverageBenefitsBelcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package.
