Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes while supporting production growth and operational excellence initiatives. Working closely with production, quality, engineering, and global manufacturing teams, this individual will improve productivity, enhance product quality, implement new equipment and tooling, and support new product introductions.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and standardize manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
  • Support capital equipment projects including justification, procurement, and implementation.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and resolve process-related production issues.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and experience improving production processes in a manufacturing environment. They possess a continuous improvement mindset, excel at problem-solving, and are comfortable working independently while driving cross-functional initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with assembly, testing, process validation, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of FMEA, DFMA, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
