Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process-related issues while partnering with production and maintenance teams to resolve problems.
- Support capital equipment projects, including vendor identification, equipment selection, purchasing justification, and implementation.
- Create and maintain standardized work instructions, operating procedures, and production standards.
- Coordinate tooling and fixturing requirements, repairs, and priorities with internal teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation.
- Analyze production performance and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Assist with engineering documentation, training programs, and implementation of best practices.
- Support safety initiatives and help identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and operational effectiveness.
- Participate on cross-functional teams focused on manufacturing improvement projects.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering experience within a production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to work in a hands-on manufacturing setting.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Inventor.
- Ability to read blueprints and utilize precision measuring equipment.
- Working knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and manufacturing process improvement methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
