Employees benefit from exposure to cross-functional teams, modern production operations and opportunities to build technical and leadership capabilities within a stable and growing business.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality and increase manufacturing efficiency.Analyze production processes and recommend enhancements to manufacturing methods and controls.Monitor manufacturing equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues.Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.Identify and promote workplace safety improvements and risk reduction opportunities.Support capacity planning, capital investment projects and return-on-investment analysis.Conduct time studies and support production planning initiatives.Assist with the development and maintenance of production controls, operating procedures, quality systems and employee training programs.Coordinate and support new product introductions and manufacturing launches.Design, develop, evaluate and justify tooling, machinery and equipment improvements.Participate in cross-functional teams representing manufacturing operations.Support assembly activities and provide technical expertise relating to engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
