Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Required Skills
Fanuc HandlingTool or Fanuc Arc Tool experience (mandatory).
Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Knowledge of manufacturing process development and optimization.
Experience with equipment selection, tooling solutions, and workstation design (including health, safety, and ergonomics).
Proficiency in structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
Ability to apply manufacturing principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to work fully onsite and commit to a split shift schedule (6 months days, 6 months nights).
Job Description
Lead end-to-end manufacturing process development for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and business objectives.
Apply advanced manufacturing principles to optimize equipment performance and drive efficient, scalable production processes.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Cummins standards and tools to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
Establish and standardize manufacturing methods and best practices to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners, to drive alignment and successful project outcomes.
Coordinate cross-functional and external resources to execute project deliverables on time and within scope.
Serve as a technical leader by sharing expertise, coaching stakeholders, and strengthening overall team capability.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization to support collaboration, knowledge sharing, and sustained process improvements.
Support VPI (Value Package Introduction) Launch Activity.
