Job Overview
As a key member of our team, you will generate and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM and other software, supporting multi-axis milling, grinding, and EDM. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our operations, providing support and training to operators, and leading process improvement projects.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience with Okuma and Haas controls
- 5 years of experience with graphical-based CAM System CNC Programming; Siemens NX CAM experience preferred
- Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs using a CAM system
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with high-level machine tool controls, including sub-routine programming and Renishaw probing routine
- Significant hands-on background as a machinist, with the ability to set up and prove out complex first-piece programs
- Extensive experience machining nickel-based superalloys
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience using Vericut or other CNC verification/machine simulation software
Preferences
- Experience with Okuma MU10000 or similar machinery
- Experience in the Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) or Aerospace industry
- Proficiency in interpreting drawing requirements
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently
