Production and Fabrication: process observation, standard work, work-center layout, capacity, labor standards, tooling, training, quality feedback, and continuous improvement.
Product Management and Project Management: requirements, volume assumptions, delivery commitments, cost targets, schedule, change impacts, and product priorities.
Safety & Quality: risk assessment, ergonomics, regulatory and quality requirements, inspection points, NCR/CAPA, validation of process changes, and safe work methods.
Procurement and Supply Chain: supplier capability, component and material flow, make-versus-buy analysis, lead-time risk, kitting, packaging, and delivery performance.
Required Skills and Abilities
Manufacturing/industrial engineering, process planning, standard work, time studies, capacity, layout, tooling, DFM/DFA, data analysis, and continuous-improvement capability appropriate to level.
Working fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, quality, material-flow, and ergonomic knowledge.
Strong CAD/layout, spreadsheet/data, documentation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Typically 7-10 years of manufacturing, industrial, process, operations engineering, internship, co-op, or related experience.
Hands-on fabricated or assembled product experience is preferred.
