Summary: 

• Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.

• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

• Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains program architecture for build.

• Leads and implements manufacturing plans.

• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

• Provides producibility information for inclusion in project plans and documents producibility best practices.

• Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible design or build definitions.

• Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.

• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems and implements lean principles and technologies.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

• Experience developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies.

• Experience participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for technical solution integration.

• Experience developing conceptual designs and maintaining build architecture.

• Experience leading and implementing manufacturing plans.

• Experience conducting producibility and variation analyses.

• Ability to analyze design and build concepts for producible definitions.

• Experience resolving technical problems affecting performance, cost or schedule.

• Experience coordinating new engineering principles, advanced technologies and concepts.

• Knowledge of lean principles and technologies.
