Role: Manufacturing Validation Engineer Digital Transformation

Overview
We are seeking a Validation Engineer to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing manufacturing and quality operations through the implementation of digital technologies, automated inspection systems, and paperless processes. This individual will play a key role in deploying new inspection equipment, executing validation activities, supporting automated test methods, and partnering with global stakeholders to drive adoption of digital solutions across manufacturing and quality environments. The position offers exposure to international teams and strategic transformation projects impacting multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Validation & Engineering Execution
Lead and support the implementation of new inspection and measurement technologies.
Execute equipment qualification and validation activities for newly deployed systems.
Develop and execute validation protocols, test plans, and supporting documentation.
Perform software validation activities supporting digital inspection and data collection systems.
Execute test method validation efforts for both manual and automated methodologies.
Support validation activities associated with digital shadow graph and automated inspection technologies.
Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and digital transformation teams to ensure validation requirements are met.
Digital Transformation Initiatives
Support site-level execution of key digital transformation projects focused on:
Paperless process implementation
Digital data collection
Equipment modernization
Inspection automation
Enterprise system integration readiness
Assist with deployment and replacement of several hundred measurement gages across the site.
Coordinate validation activities, implementation schedules, and deployment timelines.
Track project deliverables and support issue resolution throughout project execution.
Project Management & Stakeholder Support
Provide weekly status updates and project progress reporting.
Develop project presentations and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Coordinate activities across multiple functional teams and global project groups.
Support planning, execution tracking, risk identification, and project milestone management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
Experience executing equipment validation, process validation, software validation, or test method validation activities.
Understanding of validation lifecycle documentation and protocol execution.
Experience supporting quality, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
Strong project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with automated inspection systems, vision systems, or digital measurement technologies.
Experience with test method validation and measurement system implementation.
Knowledge of digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing or quality organizations.
Familiarity with software validation and computerized system validation (CSV).
Experience supporting regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Exposure to global or multi-site project teams.
