This position is highly hands‑on with significant production floor presence, focused on improving manufacturing processes, optimizing workflow, increasing productivity, enhancing safety, and supporting quality initiatives across the operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, process engineering, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to lead improvement efforts in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reductionDevelop manufacturing layouts utilizing AutoCAD and DWG softwareCreate and maintain process documentation including BOMs, routings, work instructions, process flow charts, control plans, and PFMEAsConduct time studies, workflow analysis, and manufacturing process evaluations to improve operational performanceResearch and evaluate manufacturing methods, materials, tooling, and equipment to support operational improvementsProvide project management support for capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain project timelines, schedules, and Gantt charts to ensure successful execution of projectsCollaborate closely with Lean Manufacturing teams to implement and sustain continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in Kaizen and Lean events while ensuring long‑term effectiveness and sustainability of implemented improvementsProvide leadership and technical guidance during manufacturing improvement activities and project executionInterface with equipment manufacturers, operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and safety teams to support successful implementation of new processes and equipmentSupport major equipment installations, commissioning activities, and production start‑upsDevelop maintenance schedules, calibration requirements, machine guarding, and operating procedures to support safe and reliable operationsTrain production and support personnel on new processes, equipment, and standard work proceduresWork closely with Operations Management to establish and achieve goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity improvementsSupport CAPEX justification activities by developing ROI analysis and supporting project documentationProvide regular updates regarding project status, timelines, risks, and improvement initiativesEscalate obstacles and seek support as needed to ensure successful project completionQUALIFICATIONSStrong hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience within a heavy manufacturing or industrial production environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologiesWorking knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing process developmentStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to effectively communicate and work cross‑functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and leadership teamsProficiency with AutoCAD, DWG, Microsoft Office, and manufacturing documentation systems preferredStrong production floor presence with the ability to drive initiatives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
