Job Description

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, quality, and efficiency! This role will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify process improvements, implement new manufacturing methods, and support day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where they can make a direct impact on productivity, quality, and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues as they arise
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, and process improvements
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support operational goals
  • Assist with equipment selection, installation, validation, and ongoing maintenance initiatives
  • Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, process documentation, and manufacturing layouts
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality and production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, and production transfers
  • Monitor production metrics and identify trends related to downtime, scrap, quality, and throughput
  • Participate in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and cost reduction projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Support capital projects and facility improvements as needed
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and continuous improvement principles
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and process documentation
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
