Description

  • Design, develop, and implement molding equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support the setup, qualification, and ongoing maintenance of molding-based production lines.
  • Create and maintain clear process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.
  • Evaluate manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and processes, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and other stakeholders to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Assist with equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes and equipment comply with safety requirements and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and meetings to support operational and business objectives.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting molding equipment, molding processes, or manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on experience within a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of molding technologies such as encapsulation molding, transfer molding, compression molding, and/or potting is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related operational excellence methodologies.
  • Exposure to project management, risk assessment, or design of experiments methodologies would be advantageous.
  • Flexible, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
