Description
This role reports directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for:
- Developing and optimizing MRO processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
- Analyzing production data to identify bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborating with technicians and quality teams to resolve technical issues
- Creating work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Evaluating tooling, equipment, and layout improvements for operational efficiency
- Assisting in new product introduction and transition into MRO workflows
Profile
The successful candidate will have...
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or MRO environments
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of aerospace or high-reliability component repair processes preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
