Manufacturing Engineer

Russell Tobin is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for an established cosmetic and personal care company near New Albany, OH.
 
Responsibilities

• Individual contributor responsible for process development and transfer of new technology.
• Identifies manufacturing processes, process flow, equipment, instrumentation, control points, control systems, impact of contaminants, and compatibility with materials of construction.
• Coordinates projects from prototype to manufacturing.
• Participates with cross-functional teams for product development and searches for new contract manufacturers.
• Typically reports to Technical Services Manager/Senior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, other Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 0–5 years of experience in a technical service or product development function.
• Experience in contract manufacturing preferred
• Project management experience preferred

 
Additional Details:

• Location model: hybrid (3 days per week in office, typically Tuesday-Thursday, with an occasional Friday meeting day)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
• Position Type: 4 month contract opportunity with potential to extend
• Salary range approved: $21.50-25/hr depending on experience
