Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - receptive to recent graduates and entry level candidates! 

    About the Role

    Under the direction of the Vice President of Engineering, the Manufacturing Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment. This position partners closely with Production and Maintenance to analyze root causes of manufacturing issues, resolve quality and process control challenges, and introduce new or improved processes that drive higher quality, efficiency, and operational performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, analyze, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and systems.
    • Improve, standardize, and document existing manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and repeatability.
    • Diagnose manufacturing, equipment, and process issues using root-cause analysis techniques.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase product quality, efficiency, and space utilization.
    • Provide hands-on production support, including machine setup, troubleshooting equipment failures, and resolving product specification deviations.
    • Verify parts in production to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve process and equipment-related issues.
    • Support company-wide operational goals through professional conduct, teamwork, and accountability.
    • Ensure manufacturing equipment, workspaces, and departmental resources are properly maintained and cared for.
    • Interact professionally with internal and external business contacts, demonstrating tact, discretion, and sound judgment.
    • Handle confidential manufacturing information, including proprietary processes and intellectual property, in accordance with company policies.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
    • Working knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing techniques.
    • Experience analyzing and resolving manufacturing and process-related issues in a production environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in metal fabrication and welded assemblies.
    • Familiarity with standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Experience supporting production and maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to independently resolve process issues.
    • Ability to develop, maintain, and communicate accurate manufacturing records and reports.
    • Effective time and resource management to ensure quality parts are delivered on schedule.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and external customers.
