Manufacturing Engineer-Ocala, FL

DescriptionYou will be a Manufacturing Engineer for the Ocala Operations team, responsible for delivering high‑mix, high‑volume circuit card, wiring harness, and electro‑assembly production across multi‑shift facilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for circuit card and wiring harness production.Lead root‑cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve on‑time delivery and compliance with specifications.Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate.Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and best‑practice guidelines.QualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.Previous manufacturing experience.U.S. citizenship (required for special access to the facility).Desired SkillsData analytics.Experience with CCA manufacturing in accordance with IPC‑A‑610.Experience with Cable and Harness manufacturing in accordance with IPC/WHMA‑A‑620.Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.Excellent process development and documentation skills (MS Office).Experience with visual‑based work instructions (creating and providing feedback).Proficiency with CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD preferred).Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Other Important InformationLocation: Ocala, FloridaClearance Level: NoneWork Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekMust be a U.S. citizen for special access.BenefitsWe offer flexible scheduling options and a comprehensive benefits package to support work‑life balance and overall well‑being.EEO StatementLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
