Summary:

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for cable harness and subassemblies.

• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for fabrication of tools and equipment.

• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

• Incorporates inspection and test requirements into the production plan.

• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency.

• Investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

• Develops manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.

• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements.

• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

• Focuses on process efficiency and quality improvements for cable harness and subassembly manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Experience designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for cable harness and subassemblies.

• Experience designing sequence of operations and specifying procedures for tool and equipment fabrication.

• Experience adapting machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.

• Experience incorporating inspection and test requirements into production plans.

• Experience inspecting machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiating corrective actions.

• Experience developing manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control.

• Experience providing guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements.

• Experience ensuring processes and procedures comply with regulations.

• Experience with process efficiency and quality improvements for cable harness manufacturing.
