Job Details

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support our CNC machining, molding, and manual assembly lines. This new position is critical for driving efficiency through automation, programming, and lean assembly improvements to meet our aggressive growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing rescue tools.
  • Create and modify CNC programs using Esprit and MCOSMOS CAD/CAM software.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and gauges using SolidWorks and CMM programming.
  • Lead the implementation of PLC usage to automate in house manufacturing processes.
  • Manage air bag mold tooling design changes and optimize rubber lay up processes.
  • Design manual assembly workflows for mechanical and pneumatic products using lean methodologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production quality issues.
  • Support the introduction of new Fanuc robotics and advanced CNC equipment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: 4+ years in a manufacturing environment focusing on CNC and assembly.
  • Programming: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G code; Esprit ability is a major plus!
  • Automation: Strong interest or ability to implement PLC and Fanuc robot programming.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of machining principles, materials, and cutting tools.
  • Documentation: Familiarity with PFMEAs, control plans, and ISO 9001 standards.
