Daily, you will report to the President and will have the following responsibilities:Support production lines while increasing efficiencies and decreasing scrapComplete projects related to root cause analysis and troubleshooting downtimeUtilize 2D and 3D modeling to improve line layouts and design fixtures and gaugesAssist with new product activities, documentation and project managementTroubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issuesCommunicate with operations and production associates to improve KPIs and production initiativesWork to improve current engineering designsAssist with creating work instructions and other manufacturing documentationComplete tooling troubleshooting and work with external tool shopsInitiate cost justification on new projects and equipmentIf not immediately, in the future oversee capital equipment projects, including monitoring timelines and budgetsOther duties directed by engineering managementThe company is seeking a candidate who enjoys spending up to 80% of their day on the manufacturing floor.
