Manufacturing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• 30% office & 70% shop floor. Supporting PCN, Testing and validating process improvements, working with operators on maintaining processes, preparing reports and process review documents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Part of the ME group supporting production processes and process improvement initiatives
• Support daily operations in the manufacturing process
• Work with quality, operations, and design teams to validate new processes and process improvements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 8-10
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in engineering field preferred but will consider comparable experience. (8-10 years if no BA)

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:  

• Manufacturing and machining environment experience
• CNC programing and process development

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding
• Experience developing and maintaining automated cells.
