Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process development, mechanical engineering, Cpk/Capabilities analysis, 3D modeling, and automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production. Utilize and develop automation as a means to reduce human factors.
• Conduct Cpk and capabilities analysis to assess process performance, production trends, and implement solutions to improve yield and throughput.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing corrective actions.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and improving manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Develop and update detailed process documentation, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to transition new products from concept to production.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in product design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
