Manufacturing Engineer
Rockford IL
Contract - 1st Shift, 5/40
Pay Rate: $44.84/Hr

Required Qualifications: Manufacturing Engineer
- U.S. Citizen.
- Provide engineering support to the operations department within an FAA repair station performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aerospace products.
- Support products primarily related to ram air turbines, electric power generation systems, and actuation systems hardware.
- Interface with all levels of the organization and external customers.
- Collaborate with customer engineering resources and host customer engineering personnel on the shop floor.
- Provide engineering support to repair station operations.
- Design and procure tooling.
- Create and maintain a 3D printed tool management system.
- Create and maintain repair documentation, including job instruction sheets, procedures, and packaging instructions.
- Design and implement tooling shadow boards throughout the repair station.
- Support research and procurement of new equipment.
- Provide daily support to the engineering team.
- Provide daily support to repair mechanics and test operators.
- Collaborate with customer engineering resources supporting client products.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Aerospace) or a related discipline.
- Without degree: 2+ years engineering experience preferred - mechanical and/or product support.
