- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar role (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other technical tools.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and implement equipment upgrades and modifications to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related challenges.
- Assist in the design and testing of new products and manufacturing methods.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process workflows, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the training of production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Experience with automation systems, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
We are working on behalf of one of the leading fenestraton and architectural systems manufacturer on the east coast to identify and select a Manufacturing/Technical Engineer to be based in Scranton, PA.
As the position holder, you will be leading the responsibility of designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for efficiency, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a passion for innovation.
