This role focuses on supporting surface mount technology (SMT) operations, soldering processes, and manufacturing workflow improvements to ensure quality and efficiency in electronics production.This position requires hands‑on experience with SMT equipment, soldering processes, and IPC standards within an electronics manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport SMT manufacturing processes including solder paste printing, component placement, and reflow operationsOperate and support SMT equipment including printers, inspection systems, and placement machinesPerform process optimization activities to improve production efficiency and product qualitySupport soldering and conformal coating operations including selective soldering and underfill processesAssist in troubleshooting SMT production issues and identifying root causesMonitor and support inspection processes including AOI and X‑ray inspectionSupport depaneling and press‑fit equipment operationsEnsure compliance with IPC standards and manufacturing quality requirementsMaintain documentation related to manufacturing processes and proceduresSupport continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operationsCollaborate with production teams to improve workflow and process reliabilityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering)3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturingStrong experience with SMT manufacturing processesExperience with SMT equipment including:Solder Paste Printers (MPM or Ekra)Component Placement (Mycronic or Fuji)Reflow Ovens (BTU)AOI SystemsX‑Ray Inspection SystemsExperience with IPC‑A‑610 and J‑Std‑001 standardsExperience with soldering and conformal coating processesExperience with selective soldering systems (ERSA preferred)Experience with conformal coating equipment (Nordson preferred)Knowledge of depaneling and press‑fit processesExperience with FactoryLogix preferredStrong troubleshooting and process optimization skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting underfill and plasma cleaning processesExperience working in regulated or high‑reliability electronics manufacturing environmentsExperience supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activitiesExperience supporting high‑volume electronics productionCompensationEstimated hourly range: $38–$40/hr (W‑2)Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.#J-18808-Ljbffr
