This role leads Swiss machining process validation from prototype through full-scale production, collaborating closely with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to develop safe, scalable, repeatable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. The position ensures compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards while supporting operational efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

The Swiss CNC Manufacturing Engineer will support Swiss machining operations by improving manufacturing processes, assisting with machine setup and programming activities, and driving operational efficiency across the shop floor. This role is ideal for an individual with strong Swiss machining expertise who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:

  • Support and optimize Swiss CNC machining processes
  • Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze machining methods to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Work closely with production and leadership teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Support programming and process development activities
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement throughout machining operations
  • Collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineering personnel to ensure successful project execution

Profile

  • Experience working with Swiss CNC lathes and machining operations
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and manufacturing best practices
  • Ability to perform or support machine setups
  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Hands-on manufacturing mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a smaller, collaborative manufacturing environment
