MANUFACTURING ENGINEER TECHNICIAN (MET)
Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania
Position Type: Full-Time
Work Model: 100% Onsite
Shift Availability: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available
Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 annually or $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
KEY ROLE INFORMATION
Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer Technician (MET) to support CNC programming, setup, process development, troubleshooting, first article validation, and production support.
This is a highly technical role requiring someone who can take a part from drawing or CAD model through programming, setup, prove-out, first article approval, and production release.
This is not a programming-only role and not an engineering-only role.
1. CNC PROGRAMMING & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT
· Create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
· Develop machining strategies
· Convert drawings and models into production-ready programs
· Select tooling and machining processes
· Optimize cycle times and efficiency
2. SETUP, PROVE-OUT & PRODUCTION RELEASE
· Perform machine setups
· Run first articles
· Prove out new programs
· Validate dimensions and tolerances
· Troubleshoot machining issues
· Release jobs into production
3. MANUFACTURING SUPPORT
· Provide technical support to machinists
· Support engineering changes
· Troubleshoot production challenges
· Improve manufacturing processes
QUALIFICATIONS
· CNC programming experience
· CAD/CAM experience
· Setup experience
· First article experience
· Blueprint reading
· Troubleshooting ability
· Production support experience
