Manufacturing Engineer

HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in the commercial refrigeration manufacturing industry in Decatur County, Tennessee!

Salary: Approximately $95,000, with flexibility for the right experience, plus a 5% annual bonus

Schedule: First shift | Approximately 7:00–8:00 AM start

Location: Decatur County, TN | On-site | Relocation assistance considered

Position Overview

Help shape the next stage of a manufacturing operation by maximizing efficiency following multimillion-dollar equipment investments. This role offers direct involvement in process improvements and capital projects, working closely with production employees and reporting to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing and assembly processes to increase safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Develop capital equipment proposals and support equipment selection, installation, and startup.
• Improve workflows, plant layouts, labor standards, and work instructions.
• Maintain manufacturing BOMs and routings; support engineering changes and new product launches.
• Partner with floor employees and leadership to turn improvement ideas into practical results.
• Travel occasionally for equipment projects, generally two to three trips annually.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Four-year degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
• At least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong process improvement experience and exposure to capital equipment projects.
• Approachable communicator who works effectively with production teams and management.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; Lean, Six Sigma, sheet metal, or automation experience preferred.
• Ability to work on the manufacturing floor and wear required PPE.
