We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with strong tooling/fixture design and hands-on shop-floor experience. The ideal candidate will support fixture development, Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, time studies, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop manufacturing, assembly, welding, and inspection fixtures using SolidWorks.
Create 3D fixture layouts, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and GD&T.
Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to validate fixtures and resolve shop-floor issues.
Identify opportunities to improve process capability, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
Develop and maintain Standard Work Instructions and Video Work Instructions.
Perform time studies, line balancing, VA/NVA/RNVA analysis, and capacity analysis.
Develop Current State and Future State Value Stream Maps (VSM) and identify bottlenecks and waste.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects, quality issues, and downtime.
Support Kaizen events and develop improvement roadmaps.
Design and improve fixtures based on manufacturing and production requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
