Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.Solidus is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on analyzing product specifications, designing manufacturing workflows, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production.Day in the Life Responsible for developing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes by studying products and production methodsLead the design, control, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in collaboration with cross functional teamsDevelop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture designsTranslate engineering design requirements into efficient, scalable manufacturing processesProvide daily troubleshooting support for manufacturing areas and integrate engineering changes into MDPsLead nonconforming material analysis, including root cause and corrective action investigationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, automate processes, improve ergonomics, and reduce costs using Six Sigma and data driven decision makingSupport manufacturers and fabricators both internal teams and supply base partners with real-time technical assistanceDevelop and implement process control and performance monitoring systemsLead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence of issuesCollaborate effectively with internal customers to ensure production successOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experienceActive Secret Clearance requiredExperience developing and optimizing manufacturing processesFamiliarity with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and data driven improvement toolsStrong analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across engineering, production, and supply chain teamsCultural fit amongst a collaborative team environmentBenefits Solidus offers outstanding benefits and generous PTO.Solidus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities regarding all terms and conditions of employment to all employees and qualified applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
