Learn more at irco.com and join us to own your future.Job OverviewThe Manufacturing Engineer is a hands on, floor-focused role responsible for implementing product designs into efficient, high quality manufacturing and assembly processes. This position supports both manufacturing and assembly operations for hydraulic and pneumatic products and plays a critical role in tooling, fixturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer partners closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and process excellence.ResponsibilitiesImplement new product designs and engineering design changes into manufacturing and assembly processes.Own tooling, fixturing, and process setup required to support production of new or revised components.Lead and support assembly and testing processes for hydraulic and pneumatic products.Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.Serve as a hands on, floor based engineer actively observing processes and identifying opportunities for optimization.Support lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvement efforts across the plant.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Manufacturing Engineering experience in an industrial or production environment.Hands on hydraulics knowledge with the ability to independently support production operations.Strong troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.Ability to work cross functionally with Operations, Quality, Product Design, and Engineering teams.Willingness to work onsite and be actively engaged on the manufacturing floor.Core CompetenciesManufacturing and assembly process developmentHydraulic systems knowledgeContinuous improvement and lean manufacturingProblem solving and analytical thinkingCollaboration and change leadershipPreferences2–3+ years of hands on hydraulics experience.7+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Working knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.Project management experience with the ability to drive projects from concept to completion.Experience with SolidWorks; familiarity with AutoCAD and Mastercam preferred.Travel & Work Arrangements / RequirementsThis position is based onsite in Tulsa, OK. Due to the hands on manufacturing and floor support requirements, hybrid or remote work is not available. Work hours are typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility as business needs require.
