Manufacturing Engineer

Payrate: $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
 
Summary:
This position will provide production support by updating tooling and routings, assisting with NPI, reviewing current product change notices, driving continuous improvement initiatives, authoring standard work documentation in Teamcenter/SAP, and supporting 3D printing activities. This role will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team that includes Manufacturing Engineers, Project Engineers, and Facility Engineers. The position will also engage in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs), problem-solving sessions, and participate in Learning Team projects.
 
Responsibilities:

• Support the assembly floor by troubleshooting build issues and refining standard work to ensure safe, consistent processes.
• Regularly update routings, validate BOMs, and implement engineering changes to ensure production accuracy and alignment with current designs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Supply teams to address nonconformances and evaluate part readiness when needed.
• Engage in continuous improvement work by identifying waste, improving material flow, and optimizing layout or tooling to increase efficiency.
• Partner closely with assemblers and cross-functional teams to keep production running smoothly.

• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Comparable roles include Engineering Aide and Manufacturing Support.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $20.00 - $21.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
