Help to study feasibility, design and implement processes for a new fabrication operation.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLearn Epicor and product requirementsDesign and implement manufacturing systemsWork with engineering to release or improve productsMonitor manufacturing process to assure quality standards are metIdentify areas cost reduction while maintaining qualityCommunicate with the staff and management on ways of implementing the plans and the recommendationsBasic mechanical assembly, use of hand tools and measuring equipmentConducts studies pertaining to lead time reduction, cost control, cost reduction, inventory controlResponsible for technical problem definition and solution in manufacturing environment; interfaces with design engineering on incorporating changes to the designs which improve manufacturabilityLead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of advanced automation solutions, leveraging technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, artificial intelligence, or industrial control systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify automation opportunities, and define project objectives and scopesConduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of automation solutions, ensuring compliance with quality standardsOversee and develop retrofit/refurbishment projects for existing automation equipment to improve productivity and reliabilityPerform vetting analysis for all projects, encompassing financial, operational, and technical analysisEducation, Skills and QualificationsA Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experienceExperience with CAD, preferably Autodesk InventorAttention to detail and organizational skillsProficient in MS Office applicationsA critical thinker dedicated to solving root cause analysis problems and continuous improvement on the jobAble to work with minimal supervision#J-18808-Ljbffr
