We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys designing fixtures and tooling, improving production processes, and working closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality to drive continuous improvement.This is a hands‑on engineering position in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment, where you will have the opportunity to directly influence how products are built. As the company continues to invest in facility improvements, new layouts, and manufacturing technology, this role will play a key part in shaping efficient, scalable production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, model, and develop production fixtures, jigs, and tooling using SolidWorksDevelop and maintain standardized assembly methods, work instructions, and process documentationPartner with Product Engineering and Quality to improve manufacturability and support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Evaluate and improve existing tooling and fixtures to reduce setup time and improve repeatabilityApply Lean manufacturing principles, time studies, and data‑driven analysis to improve production flow and reduce wasteSupport new product introductions and ensure smooth transition from engineering to productionTrack production performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvementCoordinate preventive maintenance activities, support equipment installation, and uptime improvementsLead or support root cause investigations related to production downtime and implement corrective actionsIdentify and support opportunities for future automation and manufacturing improvementsCollaborate cross‑functionally to support production goals and operational efficiencyQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with SolidWorks CADExperience with sheet metal, tubing, welding, mechanical assemblies, or similar fabrication processesStrong project management, communication, and problem‑solving skillsPreferred:Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and a continuous improvement mindsetExperience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environmentExposure to time studies, standard work, and process improvement methodsExperience working in small to mid‑sized manufacturing organizationsAdditional experience with manufacturing process optimization or layout improvementCompensation and BenefitsH.O.
